About Us

Kōwhai Family Start is a social services organisation. We provide family support services to parents and children who are struggling or require assistance through our Family Start programme in the Waikato region. Our social services are designed to improve relationships with communities and create a positive change for future generations. Kōwhai empowers whanau to achieve positive outcomes and break negative intergenerational cycles. Our company is dedicated to empowering all people in Aotearoa.

We are based in the Waikato region with our corporate office in Hamilton and service hubs in the extended Waikato region. We employ over 30 qualified staff who specialize in education, social work, and business management.
